Paintings as Movies

Rainey alerted me to Tyler Green's blog challenge: choose five paintings that would make good movies. Pretty dumb, huh? Well, you'd think different if you had to fill up blog space every day, and who asked you anyway?

Paintings aren't very good at telling stories, but they're good at showing characters. You can mix and match them thusly:

Brian Calvin, Fearless

Velazquez, Don Pedro de Barberana
